Nov 17/18, 2019 Casino Volunteer Request

Hello Federation Skating Club member,

Now that the 2019/20 skating session is in full swing, and our children are eagerly learning different skills on the ice, we would like you to consider an option to help support our club.

The Federation Skating Club is hosting a Casino this year and we are reaching out to our club members to volunteer for 1 or 2 shifts at our casino.  The funds from this casino are vital to our skating program; funds go towards the cost of ice fees and therefore keep skating program costs to a minimum for our members. 

Casino dates are: (Sunday & Monday) November 17 & 18, 2019.

Location: Starlight Casino at West Edmonton Mall

Never worked a Casino, no worries, there is no experience necessary.  Training and support is provided by an experienced casino advisor.  Its fun, a meal is provided, and the club is providing an incentive of 2 options for your volunteering effort.

Volunteer Incentive per shift

• Option 1 - $150.00 - Ice credit towards the next fall/winter session (2020/21), or
• Option 2 - $75.00 – Gift card to Sobeys/Safeway.

Positions available:

Banker (sets up chips for the chip runner and gives money to the cashiers)

Cashier (trades chips for cash to clients)

Chip Runner (runs chips to the tables as needed)

Count Room (count money)

Count Room Supervisor (uses computer during money count)
